Design & Dine

In this series of eight optional evening sessions, educators will engage in the engineering design process using a featured picture book as the theme. They will walk away with a class set of materials to use in their classrooms. Training is over for the year but will resume next year. Stay tuned!

Design Thinking Cohort

In this two-part PD, elementary educators will be introduced to the design thinking process, with time to plan and create their own classroom-ready lessons aligned to.

CSTEM

In this part one of a four-part series, 3rd-8th grade educators will learn how to integrate computer science and robotics into their math instruction. They can also earn credits towards a Supplemental Authorization in Computer Science.

Computer Science Training

Join us for a fun, hands-on evening of coding! In preparation for Code.org’s Hour of Code and Computer Science Education Week 2025, teachers will explore coding basics and leave with ready-to-use lessons that inspire creativity and problem-solving.

PBL World

A select group of educators will attend PBL World in Napa for an immersive, multi day conference focused on designing high quality, standards aligned Project Based Learning experiences that integrate STEAM. Participants will return as site leaders, strengthening PBL practices and supporting STEAM designation efforts across the district.
